The team has significant history of managing client capital in systematic trading strategies for Australian and offshore High Net Worth Individuals and Institutions. CEC allocates its own capital into the investment strategies it manages.

Adam Phillips
Adam has worked in financial markets for over 20 years initially with financial companies such as Citicorp Global Asset Management and Ord Minnett Jardine Flemming Futures. He also is the founder of Blue Fin Capital with a peak AUM of US$80 million. As an experienced Fund Manager, Adam has successfully managed money for various institutions and also consulted to sophisticated investors on “absolute return strategies”. Adam has an Australian Stock Exchange (‘ASX’) Derivatives Advisor accreditation and previously has held a Registered Representative proper authority of the Sydney Futures Exchange (‘SFE’). He is also Series 3 registered with the National Futures Association (US).
Greg Mulcahy
Highly experienced in financial markets, Greg has traded for over 30 years in New Zealand, Tokyo and Australia. Greg initially worked as a proprietary bond trader at Elders Merchant Bank and NZI Bank. Greg established a Commodity Trading Advisor [CTA], Ebisu Portfolio Management in 2000. Funds under management grew to over US$20 million.

Greg has deployed proprietary systematic strategies in the managed futures space, on behalf of high net worth and institutional clients. He has been registered with the NFA and CFTC as a Commodity Trading Advisor for twenty years. He joined Blue Fin Capital in 2010 and as Portfolio Manager, bought the same strategies to Blue Fin’s funds management. In recent years Greg has been applying these strategies to the trading of crypto currencies. In his current role as Portfolio Manager, Greg is responsible for devising and managing systematic trading strategies in both the futures and crypto markets.

Thomas is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as the director of Australia Decent Smart Pty Ltd, a leading organization with a workforce of over 150 employees.
